The Kingdom Come: Deliverance Wiki is a collaborative platform managed by dedicated volunteers. Administrator rights are granted to trusted and active contributors who demonstrate a commitment to maintaining and improving the wiki. Below are the policies for requesting administrator rights.

What is an administrator?

An administrator is a user with special rights over administration and management of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance Wiki. There are several ways to contact the administrators: leaving a talk page message for any active admin, contacting them through the wiki's official Discord server, or leaving a message on the admin noticeboard. Administrators have the following rights:

  • Protect pages
  • Delete pages and images
  • Deletion review and undeletion of pages
  • Suspending or banning users
  • Implementing certain policies
  • Editing protected and restricted pages

Admins should be treated as and act like...

  • A community leader who helps maintain order and fosters a positive environment
  • A mediator trusted to handle conflicts fairly and impartially among users
  • A facilitator who is encouraged to help others contribute and grow within the community
  • A collaborator who is engaged in discussions and decision-making with other members
  • Most importantly, an equal in transforming this wiki for the better.

Admins should not be treated as or be like...

  • A dictator who imposes rules unilaterally without community input
  • A janitor who is expected to fix every small problem or clean up after every user
  • An infallible authority who is treated as if they never make mistakes or as if their decisions cannot be questioned
  • A gatekeeper who intimidates new editors and fosters a closed, friends-only community

How do I become an admin?

Eligibility criteria

  • Have a history of regular contributions to the wiki over an extended period (typically at least ≥6 months).
  • Produce accurate, well-written, and constructive edits.
  • Uphold wiki policies, interact respectfully with other members, and be able to negotiate and cope with not always getting their expected result.
  • Exhibit a willingness to assist other contributors and take initiative in improving the wiki.
  • Generally trusted by the Kingdom Come: Deliverance Wiki community.

Request process

If you meet the criteria above, you can nominate yourself or somebody else to request for administrator rights. To do so, you (or the nominator) have to create a subpage of this page entitled
Kingdom Come Deliverance Wiki:Rights request policy/Rights request - [Your username] (e.g. Rights request - HansCapon)

The request page should include a concise explanation of why you are seeking administrator rights, along with a summary of any significant contributions or noteworthy edits you have made, especially those relevant to the wiki's content.

After the page is created, the community will engage in discussion and vote on the request. Voting will remain open for a minimum of one week, with extensions possible for more complex cases. Users are encouraged to provide a rationale for their vote, explaining why they believe the rights should or should not be granted. Once the voting period concludes, an interface administrator will review the votes and the accompanying discussion to make the final decision. When it is passed, the aforementioned IA will make the request to wiki.gg staff.
