The padded coif is usually worn as a helmet liner but can be worn alone as basic head protection in combat.
How to Obtain
- Can be bought from armoursmiths and tailors, or looted from guards, cumans and bandits.

Notes
- Similar in appearance to many variants of the normal Padded coif.
- Despite it's name, it seems to be more of a dark grey, with a hint of brown or purple depending on the lighting. The darkest Padded coif with 13 Visibility and 13 Conspicuousness, or the Dark padded coif are closer to an actual "Black Padded Coif".
