Semine (Czech: Semínský Dvůr) is a location in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

Background

Semine is one of the main fortress in Trosky castle region, the stronghold of Semine family.

Historical Context

Semine Fortress was a 14th-century stronghold historically associated with the noble Semine family. The estate came under the control of two lords, Oldřich of Semine and Jan of Semine, beginning in 1356. Oldřich of Semine died before 1376, leaving behind an unnamed wife and three children. Leadership of the fortress passed to Jan II of Semine, who assumed lordship by 1375.

In 1383, Peter of Semine inherited the fortress and was also granted the estate of Milschevsi by King Wenceslas IV. Subsequently, in 1393, Pschibik of Semine and his brothers became lords of the estate. The lands associated with Semine Fortress included Zhelejov, Hrdoňovice, and nearby farms and hamlets.
