The Best for Last is a task in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

Detailed walkthrough
After defeating the brawlers at the Lower Semine Mill and Zhelejov Wagoners' Inn, either Miller Kreyzl or Innkeeper Lawrence will reveal the location of a grandmaster fighter living in the Kopanina woods. The task marker indicates the champion’s whereabouts northeast of Tachov, near Trosky Castle.
Upon arrival, the player encounters Herbalist Barnaby, the undefeated champion. Speak with him and initiate the fight. After defeating Barnaby, he offers a talk and to share a drink, as he does not get much visitors in his secluded cabin. Accepting improves reputation and unlocks dialogue where Barnaby shares stories of his past, and how he came to live in such a secluded area. Once the conversation concludes, the task is completed.
Strategies
- Herbalist Barnaby is among the toughest brawlers, possessing the highest health and swift attacks. His strikes deal significant damage, making the fight challenging for unprepared players. To defeat him, relying on combos is more effective than attempting perfect blocks and counters.
