Detailed walkthrough
The quest can be started in several ways. The player may speak to Innkeeper Lawrence about the fights and request to join, requiring an entry fee of 100 groschen. If the player lacks the funds, Lawrence will direct them to Miller Kreyzl, who can cover the fee, initiating the task Melee at the Mill. Alternatively, if Melee at the Mill has already been completed, Kreyzl will send Henry to Zhelejov to participate in the fights and pay the entry fee on his behalf.
After placing a bet, the player must resolve an issue before fighting. Barber Fiala has been banned from participating by his wife, Dorothy, as his dominance in fights has discouraged other contestants. The player can use Charisma to persuade her, Speech to negotiate, or offer 50 groschen to compensate for potential business losses. Once resolved, Fiula confirms he is ready to fight, and the player can begin facing opponents in Zhelejov.
The first match is against Hannes, who waits near the inn. After winning, Anna, a bathmaid, approaches the player in the barn with a request. She asks Henry to punish Bohunek, the next opponent, for his inappropriate behavior toward her. Accepting her request allows Anna to later serve as a skill trainer.
After collecting the winnings from Hannes, the player can challenge Bohunek, who is resting against a barn post. Questioning him about Anna's claims does not affect the quest. Upon defeating Bohunek, the player can inform Anna, who will then offer healing services and training.
The final match is against Fiula, who waits outside the bathhouse. After placing a wager and winning, the player can collect the earnings. Returning to Innkeeper Lawrence If the player has already completed Melee at the Mill, he will tell you about the regional champion residing in the Kopanina woods, starting the quest The Best for Last.
