Aftermath
Aftermath is the fifth and final main quest of Theresa's arc in the A Woman's Lot DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It includes the Angel of Mercy sidequest.
Synopsis
Aftermath: Samuel died during the night and now I'm left alone in the world but for Tinker. Has anyone else survived at all? Skalitz is smouldering and it looks like the army has moved on.
Angel of Mercy: I came across a survivor and decided to help others to escape too. No one else should be allowed to die! Tinker will help with my search.
Objectives
- Find out if anyone survived behind the walls.
- Find out where Tinker is going.
- Help the injured man.
- Look for survivors at the potter's smallholding.
- Find Stanislav's stash of Groschen.
- Take the money to Stanislav.
- Find Stanislav's stash of Groschen.
- Search for survivors near the works.
- Help Jarmila to escape.
- (Optional) Get rid of the deserter.
- Help Jarmila to escape.
- Look for surivors around the woodcutters' camp.
- Get Julian to flee.
- Look by the woods for survivors.
- Get Marosh to safety.
- (Optional) Help Marosh find Pavlena.
- Tell Marosh about Pavlena.
Walkthrough
When Tinker runs off, follow him along the path to the west. Holba is lying on the path with a leg injury; help him and you'll fast travel to the outskirts of Skalitz.
Head east to the mineworks (stopping at the mill for Theresa to look over her fallen father and brother). Jarmila is in a shed at the works and refuses to leave until a Cuman deserter wandering about is removed. Do this and then talk to her.
Continue west to the woods, where Marosh is looking for his wife Pavlena. Unfortunately, she's lying dead a little southwest of the woodland garden. Tell Marosh the bad news.
Go back southeast to the woodcutter's camp. Woodcutter Julian is standing near several bodies, in a state of shock and seeking an unspecified thing. Under a nearby lean-to is a stump with Julian's axe; give it to him and he'll leave.
The last stop is the potter's smallholding. Potter Stanislav is locked out of his own home, and won't leave until he gets his coin stash. Head west along the path to find his keys near the spilled basket of wood (or just pick the lock). The coin purse is in the apple basket in the pantry. Go outside to find a looter accosting Stanislav; you can give him the money, lie to him, or fight him. Rescuing all the survivors grants the Saviour achievement.
Finally, enter Skalitz through the northeast gate. Tinker picks a fight with a member of Runt's gang and is killed with an axe. Theresa finds Henry being brutalized by Runt and his crew, and intervenes.
After the recollection, back in the present, Theresa gives Henry a Skalitz shield (awl).
