- Like the other horses, Bayard is listed as an Easter egg.
- Bayard was a mythical French horse from Chanson de geste with the magical ability to change size in order to carry multiple riders. In some accounts, Bayard was almost killed when he was pushed into the river with a stone fastened to his neck, only to break the stone with his hooves and escape.
