The nighthawk potion is a type of potion in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which can be prepared at an Alchemist's bench.

Recipe Description

He who desires to move in the night like a cat, or a bird that flies in the dark, let him brew this potion and drink it in the evening and he will see how the night becomes clearer and more like dusk. Be wary of the light, however, for your eyes will be accustomed to the dark and the light will hurt them.

Potion Description (Effects)

The slightly toxic substance in the potion dilate your pupils, so your night vision is improved. For ten minutes you can see better in the dark.

• Apothecary of Rattay
• Treasure map XVIII

Ingredients

• Water
• 1x Cave mushroom
• 2x Eyebright
• 1x Belladonna

Herbarium

1. Pour water into cauldron
2. Grind two handfuls Eyebright in the mortar and pestle then add to cauldron
3. Add Belladonna to cauldron
4. Boil for three turns of the sandglass (6 pulls of the bellows)
5. Allow to cool fully
6. Add Cave mushroom
7. Distill

Optimized recipe

1. Pour water into cauldron
2. Add listed ingredients in order into cauldron:
   • Belladonna
   • Two handfuls of Eyebright (do not grind)
   • Cave mushroom
3. Pull the bellows 3 times
4. Distill immediately

Notes

• Be carefull when using this potion in bad weather. Using the Nighthawk potion in strong rain can have an adverse effect of nearly blinding you due to the streak of raindrops obscuring your vision.
