Biography

Although fully kitted out in an extensive (if slightly battered) suit of armour, Sir Olbram is a bit of a coward, more afraid of his mother than anything else.

Nevertheless, having been commanded to save damsels and fight bandits, Olbram will stand on the roadside and challenge Henry to a duel. He can be overheard complaining about the unrealistic expectations placed on noble men.

Henry can easily avoid fighting him by convincing him to "start with the damsel"; "some of them might even be virgins".

Notes

  • As long as Henry does not kill the Faint-hearted Knight or convince him to stop seeking out opponents, he can be encountered and fought an unlimited number of times.
  • Henry can convince the Faint-hearted Knight to wager something on the outcome of their duels three times until he has nothing left to wager. These possible wagers are: a Decorated shirt (red variant), a small amount of Groschen, and a sword stalwart.
  • Because the Faint-hearted Knight is a random encounter character, if he is knocked out and looted, any stolen items will lose their stolen tag immediately after he despawns when Henry gets far enough away from him.
    • He will also regenerate all of his stolen equipment each time he is encountered again, meaning he can be knocked out and looted repeatedly for a steady stream of sellable gear.
