I disagree with the note about alchemy being "one of the hardest skill to level"; in fact, I consider it about the easiest. The note pretty much contradicts itself by noting that you don't need an in-game recipe at all (for example, if you look one up on this page) and that the in-game ones aren't horribly hard to decipher even with no in-game reading skill. The Marigold potion can be quickly made with ingredients plentifully available in areas that are near and safe, making it a very easy level up, if a tad monotonous.
