The Carpenter's axe is a weapon used in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It is held in Henry's main hand and classified as an axe.

Description

A traditional tool that can also be used for combat. Compared to a sword, the axe has greater impace and is thus suited to the dealing with [sic] heavily armoured opponents. But it's heavier and therefore slower and, above all, doesn't give much cover, especially if the axe was intended for work and doesn't have a metal-plated handle.

Notes

• The Carpenter's Axe is an axe designed for use primarily as a work axe. The axe is of sturdy construction, with a short, thick wooden haft, with a large steel axe head socketed to the tip. The axe head's blade is long and constructed with a durable layer of steel, to prolong the axe's life. However, as a result, the blade of this axe is quite dull, as evidenced by its low slashing damage. Despite this axe lacking a hook or spike, the large blade makes it a decent weapon for occasional poking. However, this axe is not designed for use in combat, especially defensively and will suffer greatly against armored opponents.
