Description

A targe shield, favoured especially by the Cumans. This round shield provides limited cover to the bearer, but for that all the more mobility.

How to Obtain

  • All of these shields can be stolen or looted off of Cumans.

Notes

  • The metal shield that has wood inserts is the worst of all types of Cuman shields, be them metal or wooden.
  • The pure metal shields are statistically equivalent to the Heavy shield.
  • This type of shield is also anachronistic for the setting of 15th century Bohemia. The name for this shield is a separ, or dhal, and while it was not particularly used in Bohemia, it was, however, used by many Islamic empires around this time, such as the Ottomans, Mamluks and the Timurids.
