The Gamekeeper is a huntsman you can encounter in certain locations in the woods. He spawns as a part of the Gamekeeper Random event. He will ask to inspect your inventory for poached game.

Dialog

He will come ask the player what he is doing in the woods. You can tell him:

  • I'm hunting. which will lead to the dialog tree:
    • Accept the punishment. which will lead to you getting arrested for poaching
    • Put up resistance. which will initiate combat with him
    • Can't we make a deal? Which will lead to a bribe negoiation screen
  • Why do you ask? which will lead to the dialog tree:
    • Certainly. He will search your inventory for poached meat
    • Not a chance! which will lead to the dialog tree:
      • Accept the punishment. which will lead to you getting arrested for poaching
      • Put up resistance. which will initiate combat with him
      • Can't we make a deal? Which will lead to a bribe negoiation screen
  • Easy now. I'm the Huntsman. (Only available if you have are the Huntsman of Talmberg and have the perk Gamekeeper Rules the Woods)

Location

  • In an Interesting site in the woods North of Neuhof , following a path north from a small shack where an old couple live.

  • In an Interesting Site in the woods West of Talmberg and North of Merhojed, Its the Interesting Site closest to the camp with the smoke shown emitting from it on the map.

  • In an Interesting Site located in a small cave east of Pribyslavitz, North/North-West of the smoke shown on the map.
    • This spot can spawn either a Gamekeeper, or a Poacher who sells poached game.
  • In an Interesting Site in a confluence between Sasau river and the stream that flows along the North-Western edge of the map. West of Treasure XVI location.
