The Heavy battle axe is a weapon used in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It is held in Henry's main hand and classified as an axe.

Description

A proper axe for a proper fight! The weight of this axe guarantees that every blow will strike hard and even armoured knights will cower in fear from it; its massive size and metal-plated haft help block a foe's attacks.

How to Obtain

• Sold by the weaponsmith in Rattay
• Sold by the weaponsmith in Sasau
• May be used by bandits in the North-Western area of the map, near Skalitz.
• Found on a table in the Pirkstein armoury.
• A Bandit in a Bandit Camp in the woods South-West of Pribyslavitz, North-West of Charcoal kilns of Rovna

Notes

• The axe head is mounted on a short wooden haft, and is reinforced with langets on both sides, to improve the axe's durability in combat. The blade of the axe head is long and crescent shaped; similar to period Hungarian bardiche axe heads. A pick is affixed to the rear of the blade, which was used to poke through holes in an opponents armor. The axe also has a spike attached to the tip of the haft above the axehead, which is also used to poke through smaller holes in an opponent's armor where slashing attacks would prove ineffective.
