Sir Jezhek of Ronow is a supporting character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He was an impoverished noble, in charge of creating counterfeit coins in order to cause chaos in the realm of Bohemia.

Biography

The castle of Ronow once belonged to Count Vincent of Liechtenburg, Jezhek's lord. After the count's death, Margrave Jobst of Moravia, seeking revenge after Vincent had refused to ally himself with Jobst to fight Sir Prokop, de-legitimizes Vincent's sons in order to inherit the estate, and then tore the castle down rather than fight for it with Vincent's vassals.

Sir Jezhek led the other vassals in a revolt against their new lord, but they were defeated at Brno. Only Jezhek escaped, with help from the executioner's assistant Rapota, who believed that the knight would regain his inheritance and take him into his service.

Unfortunately, that was not to be, as Henry, during All that Glisters, tracks him to his underground workshop (possibly with the help of Sir Ulrich of Passau), arrests him, and has him sent to Rattay. Once there, he refused to speak to anyone except Henry, and patronizingly says he should be honoured to have the chance to uncover a conspiracy against King Wenceslas IV of Bohemia.

Henry arrests Sir Jezhek

He bemoans the fact that the Margrave stole his birth right, and blamed him for the actions he was forced to take - he was always loyal to the Crown until he was forced from his home. He heard that there was someone in Sasau named Erik, who was hiring armed men, so he joined up.

He reveals that he was put in charge of the counterfeiting, and that he knows that someone at the monastery was also involved. Once the interrogation is over, Jezhek asks Henry to put in a good word for him with Sir Radzig Kobyla, promising to swear allegiance in exchange for mercy.
