Description

A longsword forged with famed German precision, which stays sharp even after rough treatment. It is a weapon that earns the respect of soldiers and nobles and assures every swordsman that it will endure to the end of the combat.

How to Obtain

• Treasure map XXII
• Can be looted or stolen from heavily armored bandits or guards.
• Can be acquired through a duel with the Faint-hearted Knight (you must first convince him to wager his sword).
• Reward for winning the Rattay Tourney twenty-three times.

Notes

• This is the weapon with the highest defence and durability values in the game, even outperforming many shields.
  • In fact, the exact Defence value of this shield places it between "regular" shields (115 defence) and "heavy" (133 defence) shields.
  • This can make the sword very attractive since it provides the generous perfect block and master strike windows of a shield with the combo potential of a longsword. Unlike a shield however, it provides no passive defense against enemy arrows.
• This sword is uniquely decorated with an emerald embedded in the pommel.
