The Mercenary is a minor character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He was an unnamed figure who was hired by Menhart to escort his wagon of counterfeit coins.
Biography
While escorting Menhart to Rovna, the wagon was attacked by an unknown knight. The mercenary was badly beaten, but saved by the Charcoal-Burners of Rovna. The Mercenary bribed Borya and his team to hide him in one of their sheds at their camp, but in All that Glisters Henry is able to gain access and question him. He isn't able to give much information, but while you are in the shed, the knight that attacked them appears, fleeing when Henry emerges.

Notes
- You can return to the Mercenary after you deal with, or loose the fleeing knight. However he has no dialogue prompt, and no other apparent use.
- The Mercenary is essential, and can not be attacked or killed.
