Prior
The Prior is a minor character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He was a monk at Sasau Monastery, and the most senior member of the clergy under Abbot Peter.
Biography
He spends most of his time locked in his rooms at the Southern end of the monastery, along with some of the other monks, including Brother Librarian.
When asked, he will tell Henry how to enter the Monastery: he needs to be literate in English and Latin, have a letter of admission from the Abbot, and be willing to lay down his life in the service of God and Jesus Christ.
During Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, the Prior would later induct the newest novice, Henry (pretending to be a nobleman called 'Karl' in order) into their order. He is visibly horrified by Henry's less than stellar singing skills and poor grasp of Latin.
He is a very pious man, not interested in the elections for the new Abbott, confident that God will ensure the correct outcome.
If he discovers that Henry is not who he says he is, he will immediately throw him out of the Monastery or into seclusion while he investigates. However if Henry can convince him that he is truly penitent, he will let you remain.
