Passing Father Godin's speech check

If you want to skip the drinking scene (for the Virgin achievement, RP reasons, whatever), you can get a boost to your speech before speaking to Father Godwin. Near him is the church, and if you enter the tower (go up the outside stairs and pick the door's Hard lock), once inside you can climb up 3 ladders to the top where the bell is, there's a chest there (with another Hard lock to pick) which has a Bard potion (speech bonus) among its contents. Steal it then go back outside to Father Godwin and chug the potion before speaking with him. You should have enough of a boost to pass the speech check. I tried the charisma and intimidation checks but failed despite the displayed values being higher than listed in this wiki entry, which annoyed me. - Spinfx (talk) 16:19, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
