Biography

Whilst he had experience in treating minor wounds and sicknesses, Brother Nicodemus found himself overwhelmed and ill-equipped when the wounded from Skalitz began pouring into Sasau, seeking refuge and treatment. Luckily, he found an excellent protégé in Johanka. He appears to respect the town's custodian, Baron vom Berg - but is disapproving of the Baron's attempts to woo Johanka (as to be expected from a man of the cloth).

When Nicodemus first meets Henry, he asks him to weed his garden patch as part of the side quest Weeds. Later he assists with diagnosing some of the sick and wounded in In God's Hands, and request Henry's help gathering herbs in New Herbarium.

In Pestilence, Henry comes to the priest to ask for his help in riding Merhojed of the plague. If Henry was able to gather sufficient information, the two are able to work out what is wrong fairly quickly. If Henry didn't properly investigate, the delay will result in several deaths. Nicodemus and Johanka will set off towards Merhojed and once Henry supplies them with the cure, they will begin to heal the sick.
