The Dyed Milanese brigandine is an armour item in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and is classed as a body plate. It comes in four varieties. The Milanese brigandine, Bright Milanese brigandine and Dark Milanese brigandine are additional colour variants of the same armour piece.

Description

The bringandine is a type of armour made of small steel plates riveted to a stiff, tough fabric or leather lining. The segmentation of the armour gives the wearer greater mobility.

How to obtain

  • Yellow variant
    • Found sometimes on high level Rattay guards.
    • Can be bought from the Rattay armoursmith.

Notes

  • Historical Accuracy: The Milanese brigandine is a design dated c. 1360-1440 and, as suggested by its name, was commonly produced by the Italian city states such as Milan. The extant specimen is stored at the Bavarian National Museum in Munich, Germany, and the design is also commonly called the corazzina or "Munich brigandine". Brigandines of this type are characterized by the large solid breastplate with a skirt formed of several layered plates - unlike many other types, the rivets are purely decorative rather than being used to connect multiple plates. The model in Kingdom Come Deliverance features an opening in the back, though some alternate interpretations of the Munich brigandine feature an opening in one side.
