Merchant Ernest
Merchant Ernest is a minor character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, who works as a Travelling Merchant.
Biography
After talking to Andrew in the quest Thirty Pieces, you can find him just to the south of The Inn in the Glade, near his horse and wagon. He is found sitting on his stump, or standing between two shrubs and shouting for his daughter, Maria.
He claims that his daughter has ran off with a boy, and that he needs to carry on to Sternberg, but because he can't find his daughter he cannot continue his journey. He also says that she has done this many times but in the end, she always comes back. You can offer to help him find her, and he will direct you towards her scarf, resting on the tree infront; If you pass a Charisma check, you can get him to pay upfront for looking for her (100 Groschen). If you talk to him after interrogating Jakey, he is distressed that you can't find his daughter, although he is bizarrely proud of what she had done.
