Decorated arming doublet is an armour item in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and is classed as a body garment. It comes in six varieties.

Description

The gambeson is a padded, quilted jacket. It provides some protection in combat and can be combined with mail or plate armour. 

How to Obtain

• Can be bought from Armoursmiths.
• Can be looted or stolen from various NPCs.

Worn By

• Orange variant
  • Swordsmith Fink
• Turquoise variant
  • A Sasau garrison Guard that can be encountered during a Skirmish Random event.
• Red variant
  • A Sasau garrison Guard that can be encountered during a Skirmish Random event: on the road South from Treasure XVII location, next to a Shrine.
• Purple variant
  • Skalitz bailiff, can be looted or stolen from him. Best option is to knock him out and rob him just prior to heading off to Martin and starting Main Quest Run!. Second best option is going on a killing spree in Skalitz.
  • A Talmberg guard inside Skalitz in a Skirmish
• Dark Yellow variant
  • Can be looted or stolen from the Herald at Rattay castle. Easiest way to obtain it is to sneak up to Rattay castle floor level at night and lockpick the chest to the right of the door.
  • Bandit (Sir Erhart's Encampment) after Honeyed Words.
• Pale Yellow variant
  • can be looted from Peychar during main quest Rocketeer.

Notes

• In terms of protection, this is the best body garment in the game. The different variants are functionally the same in regards to protection and all have the same value, however the Turquoise variant offers superior stealth stats while the Pale Yellow variant offers superior charisma. Red and Purple are identical appart from colour and Red is missing a belt, while Purple is not.
